Day of the Book Festival

Old Town Kensington - Montgomery County

This spring, walk along Howard Avenue in Old Town Kensington during the town's annual Day of the Book Festival. Stop to listen to poetry and story readings, dance to the tunes of live musicians, and meet local authors. On Sunday, April 27, over 100 local authors, artists, and community literary organizations will be assembled along Kensington's main street to share and discuss their work. Other activities will include open mic readings, live music, art displays, and more. This event will be held, rain or shine, from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. The event and all activities are free. Park in the Armory parking lot on Armory Avenue.
